How Choice Insurance Collects and Uses Your Personal Information?

When you fill out the contact form for an insurance quote, our Aggregator collects your basic information. When our agent contacts you, the data collected includes your date of birth, contact details (email address and mailing address), payment details, home address, and an asset to insure (and related parties). The Insurance Broker or Aggregator uses the collected information to analyze your application and devise a personalized insurance solution.

Under the signed agreement, your information is used for the following Defined Purposes:

  • Eligibility and approval of your insurance application;
  • Determining the best quote and offers that suit your insurance needs;
  • Collection of fees and premiums;
  • Authentication of your information and verification of your identity (via bank account details shared with us);
  • Investigating and settling claims;
  • Detecting fraud and preventing illegal activities;
  • Meeting legal, security, and self-regulatory requirements as stated by applicable law;
  • For compiling statistics and data collection to perform market research.

In case of non-disclosure of personal information or ending consent agreement with Choice Insurance to collect, use and disclose your information, we will not be able to offer you insurance quotes, offers, and coverage.

Protecting Your Privacy for Online Accounts

When you get an online insurance quote, the Insurance Broker will ask for your email address and password to create an account in your name. Hence, the account only allows you to access your insurance quote, policies, and related details. It is imperative to familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions regarding protecting your login credentials. Our broker never asks you to disclose your password via phone calls, emails, or letters. We highly recommend not disclosing your password on calls or emails.

How is Your Personal Information Managed and Disclosed by Us?

Choice Insurance only collects necessary personal information for Defined Purposes or as per legal requirements. But if we need the personal information for additional purposes, your consent is taken before disclosing any personal data. We retain and manage your personal information for as long as you are affiliate with us through an insurance policy

Disclosure to Service Providers

Choice Insurance may share your personal information with the service providers, insurance agents, and Choice affiliates who provide services on our behalf.   • Other parties with whom you have consented to share information, or as per legal requirements.
